Bernard Yee

Chairman

Bernard is a lawyer in private practice. During his university years, he served on the executive committee of the Catholic Students’ Society. Bernard has also served as a Lector and as a member of the Parish Pastoral Council at the Church of the Risen Christ.

Elizabeth Sulistio

Deputy Chairman

Elizabeth works full-time as an internal auditor in the banking industry and has served on the Board of Morning Star since April 2019. In her personal time, she volunteers in family life ministries, including Catholic Engaged Encounter and Couple Mentor Journey. She also serves in the choir ministry at the Church of St Teresa together with her family.Elizabeth is a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA Australia) and holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance from the University of Western Australia

Gerald Tan

Treasurer

Gerald holds a Bachelor of Arts (Specialised Honours) in Economics and Business from York University, Canada, and a Graduate Diploma in Financial Management from the Singapore Institute of Management. He is a Chartered Accountant (CA Singapore), a member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA), and a Fellow Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), United Kingdom. Gerald works full-time as a Finance Manager in the petroleum industry.

Sharon (Ong) Goh

Secretary

Sharon is an in-house legal counsel with a strong focus on shipping and commodities. During her university years, she served as Honorary Secretary of the Singapore Society, where she helped foster and sustain a sense of Singaporean identity among students studying abroad. Sharon also contributes regularly to animal welfare organisations.

Gerard Seng

Board Member

Gerard is an experienced management consultant specialising in artificial intelligence and digital transformation initiatives, with extensive expertise in cost management solutions. He holds both Bachelor and Master of Commerce degrees from the University of Sydney and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ).During his university years, Gerard also served as Vice-President of the Catholic Asian Students’ Society.

Judy Low

Board Member

Judy is a communications professional with experience in the technology and healthcare industries, before transitioning to the care sector in 2024. She previously served on the Board of Samaritans of Singapore from 2017 to 2024 and currently serves on its executive committee.

Kelvin Poon

Board Member

Kelvin is a lawyer in private practice and has served on the Board of Morning Star Community Services for the past nine years. While in university, he was a member of the executive committee of the Catholic Students’ Society. Kelvin previously served as a Board Member of Montfort Care.
